The term does not include a company or entity which has a direct or indirect business relationship with, or has a direct or indirect relationship with, the insured party.(f) “TDI-issued certificate of authority to transact the business of insurance” means a document evidencing authority granted to an agent to conduct the business of insurance for another insurance licensed from TDI.(g) “TDI-issued certificate of authorization to transact the business of insurance agency” means a document evidencing authority granted to an agent to conduct the business of an insurance agency for another insurance licensed from TDI.(h) “Agency office” does not include any agency authorized to receive written applications by insured parties from non-insurable parties or applications for insurance coverage on behalf of non-insurable parties.
